5th PSPB Baba Deep Singh Invitational Hockey Tournament to start on March 16 at Khalsa College
New Delhi: The 5th PSPB Baba Deep Singh Invitational Hockey Tournament (Men and Women) is scheduled to take place from March 16 to March 24, 2026. This event is organized annually by Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, University of Delhi.
The tournament will be inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mr. Lalit Watts, Advisor to the Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB). The Guest of Honour will be Professor Sarita Tyagi, Head, Department of Physical Education & Sports Sciences, University of Delhi. Also present on this occasion will be the Principal of the host, Khalsa College—Professor Gurmohinder Singh.
According to Ms. Inderpreet Kaur, Director, Physical Education & Sports Sciences, Khalsa College, the tournament will be contested at the inter-college level, featuring both men’s and women’s categories. Seven teams are participating in the men’s category, while four teams are competing in the women’s category. In both categories, the tournament will follow a ‘League-cum-Knockout’ format. The final match will be played between the top two teams from the pool stage.

1. Bharti College, 2. Shyama Prasad Mukherji College, 3. Vivekananda College, 4. Delhi University Alumna.
