“UAS International and Leading Indian Universities Empower Students Through Global Exchange in Malaysia”
Selangor ( Malaysia) : In a prestigious ceremony held at Mahsa University, UAS International Group of Companies, in collaboration with leading universities across India, celebrated the successful completion of an international student exchange program. Mr. Ishan Taneja, Managing Director and CEO of UAS International, honored outstanding students from esteemed institutions, including Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth’s Centre for Online Learning (DPU-COL) Pune, D.Y. Patil University’s Ambi Campus, Bharati Vidyapeeth New Law College Pune, SGT University Gurugram, JIMS Vasant Kunj, Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies (RDIAS), Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Management and Research (BVIMR), Sushant University, Chanderprabhu Jain College of Higher Studies & School of Law, Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET), IITM Janakpuri, Gandhinagar University Ahmedabad, IBS Dehradun, IBS Bangalore, and Alliance University.
The exchange program, held from 16th to 22nd February 2025, was a significant step in fostering international academic and corporate learning experiences. Aligned with the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) directive to promote global exposure and cultural exchange, the initiative provided students with the opportunity to engage with Malaysia’s diverse educational and corporate landscape.
Mr. Ishan Taneja, a key architect of the program, highlighted the importance of global perspectives in modern education. “This initiative is a milestone in promoting experiential learning and cultural diversity. It empowers students to become global citizens, equipping them with the skills to navigate the evolving global workforce,” he stated.
Under his leadership, students explored Malaysia’s corporate ecosystem, including an insightful visit to the renowned Royal Selangor Pewter Factory. This hands-on experience reinforced the vision of UAS International in fostering global competence beyond conventional classroom education.
The collaboration with Mahsa University also facilitated knowledge exchange on international education policies and certification programs. Students participated in a distinguished certification ceremony, marking their successful completion of the program. The international certification earned will serve as a valuable credential in their professional journeys.
Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming success of the program, Mr. Taneja commended the participating students and faculty for their dedication. “This initiative has broadened students’ horizons, fostering academic excellence and cultural exchange. Programs like these are essential in preparing the youth for the increasingly interconnected world,” he added.
