A Virtual Glimpse of Madhya Pradesh’s Tourism Now at KidZania
Mumbai :Madhya Pradesh, a state rich in history, culture, spirituality, and wildlife, is now being introduced to the younger generation in a creative and engaging format — through KidZania’s MP Tourism Experience Center. The initiative was formally launched in KidZania Mumbai by Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary, Tourism & Culture Department, and Managing Director, MP Tourism Board. A similar experience center has also been inaugurated at KidZania Delhi. Speaking at the event, Shri Shukla said,“Madhya Pradesh has something for everyone. From rich tribal heritage and preserved ancient culture to UNESCO-listed heritage sites, the state offers nearly every form of tourism experience available in India. This initiative will bring the essence of Madhya Pradesh closer to children and families in a fun, educational way.” KidZania’s Chief Business Officer, Mr. Tarandeep Singh Sekhon, praised the MP Tourism Board’s innovative approach, stating,“This is the first time a state has launched such a unique initiative to connect with children and families through tourism. It will play a crucial role in nurturing future responsible travelers.”
The event also witnessed the signing of an MoU between KidZania and MP Tourism, followed by a symbolic key handover by KidZania Director & COO, Mr. Yazdi Khambatta, to Shri Shukla. A lively parade with KidZania mascots and children marked the celebration, culminating in the inauguration of the Experience Center by ribbon-cutting alongside enthusiastic young visitors.
An Immersive, Educational Experience
The MP Tourism Experience Center is designed to engage children with the state’s natural heritage, biodiversity, rivers, and cultural richness in an exciting and interactive way. At the center, two major virtual experiences are offered:

Jungle Safari:
Children hop on a virtual jeep ride through the dense forests and national parks of Madhya Pradesh, encountering wild animals and learning about their habitats. -
River Rafting:
Through motion-simulated rides, children virtually raft down Madhya Pradesh’s scenic rivers, experiencing the thrill of water currents and aquatic life.
These experiences are made vivid using virtual reality, motion sensors, environmental simulation, and 3D effects, creating a near-realistic environment for kids.
Interactive Learning & Rewards
Children are dressed in green safari jackets to enhance their role as real explorers. Each experience lasts about 10 minutes, followed by a short quiz of ten questions. Correct answers earn children KidZania currency (KidZos) as rewards. Kids can also design their own personalized postcards, which they can print and take home.
To make the experience more memorable, MP Tourism is also distributing customized giveaways like themed stickers, activity diaries, and colorful pencils.
Skill Development Through Play
This initiative goes beyond fun — it fosters key developmental skills in children:

Additional MD of MP Tourism Board, Ms. Bidisha Mukherjee, thanked the audience and highlighted how this innovative project aims to make Madhya Pradesh’s tourism experiences accessible to children across the country.
