AAP Protests Outside BJP Office, Alleges Tampering of Atishi’s Video

New Delhi: Leaders and workers of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) staged a strong protest outside the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office on Wednesday, alleging that a video of Atishi, Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Assembly, was tampered with and circulated on social media by BJP leaders, particularly Minister Kapil Mishra.

AAP claimed that words were deliberately added to the video that Atishi never said. According to the party, references related to Sikh religious figures were inserted with the intention of spreading misinformation and disturbing communal harmony. AAP termed the incident a political conspiracy and demanded strict action against those responsible.

Delhi AAP president Saurabh Bharadwaj said, “AAP workers are demanding a public apology from Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. That is why we have come near the BJP office. It has become clear that BJP minister Kapil Mishra added false statements to Atishi’s video in an attempt to damage communal harmony in the country. Action must be taken against him.”

During the protest, AAP workers raised slogans and demanded a fair and impartial investigation into the matter. Party leaders warned that if prompt action is not taken, the agitation will be intensified in the coming days.
