AAP’s Women’s Wing Raises Awareness Among Women in Burari
New Delhi: With the Delhi Assembly elections approaching, political parties are intensifying their campaigns and outreach programs. As part of this effort, the women’s wing of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) conducted an awareness drive in the Burari Assembly constituency.
The women’s wing organized a ‘Mahila Samman Padyatra’ (Women’s Honor March) in Burari, starting from West Kamal Vihar and concluding at the election office on 100 Feet Road. Women participated enthusiastically in the march, which aimed to express gratitude for the schemes and initiatives introduced by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for women’s empowerment.
Participants emphasized that AAP has been a strong advocate for women’s rights, safety, education, equality, and their rightful place in society. Gulshan Jha highlighted the work done over the past decade by AAP MLA Sanjeev Jha and the Delhi government, presenting these achievements to the women present.
She urged women to remain aware of their rights and cast their votes based on the work done by the Delhi government. The Mahila Samman Yojana (Women’s Honor Scheme) was also discussed during the event, reinforcing the commitment to women’s empowerment.
