Action will be taken for making videos on mobile and posting on social media: Assembly Speaker

Lucknow (UP) : Amid the uproar by the opposition in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, Speaker Satish Mahana objected to MLA Pallavi Patel making videos on her mobile phone. He instructed her not to record videos inside the House and directed that the videos already made be deleted immediately.

Taking a stern stance, the Speaker said that if any video of the Assembly proceedings is seen on social media, action will be taken against the person concerned. He clarified that such measures are necessary to maintain the dignity of the House.
