After Operation Sindoor, Preity Zinta Donates ₹1 Crore for Martyrs’ Families

New Delhi :  Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has taken a heartfelt step following Operation Sindoor, donating ₹1 crore to support the wives and children of martyred soldiers. She made this generous contribution to the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) as part of Punjab Kings’ CSR initiative. Attending an AWWA event in Jaipur on Saturday, Preity expressed that supporting the brave families of India’s soldiers is both an honor and a responsibility. She shared an emotional post and video on her official social media, describing how deeply moved she was by the bravery and sacrifice of the armed forces. She recalled seeing posters of gallant soldiers—some who gave their lives for the country, others who returned bearing the scars of war. Meeting the wives and children of these heroes made her realize the strength and silent pride they carry every day.

Preity emphasized that this donation was a small gesture to show that these families are not forgotten. She urged everyone to contribute in any way possible to support the families of India’s brave soldiers, adding that she feels proud knowing the country is in safe hands because of such heroes.
