After the Pahalgam Attack, Salman Khan Postpones ‘The Bollywood Big One’ Tour
New Delhi : The attack in Pahalgam was a deep wound to the nation, one that every Indian felt. In this cowardly act, 26 innocent tourists lost their lives, drawing widespread condemnation from across the country. People from around the world have expressed their anger and sorrow over the incident. Bollywood actor Salman Khan also voiced his outrage in a post on X (formerly Twitter). Now, he has taken a significant decision. Salman Khan announced on social media that he is postponing his upcoming ‘The Bollywood Big One’ tour in solidarity with the nation during this tragic time.
Sharing a post on his official Instagram handle regarding his upcoming UK tour, Salman Khan wrote:
“In light of the recent tragic events in Kashmir, it is with a heavy heart that we must announce the postponement of ‘The Bollywood Big One Show UK’, originally scheduled for May 4 in Manchester and May 5 in London. Our fans were eagerly waiting for the show. However, in these difficult times, postponing the tour is the most appropriate decision.”
Apologizing to his fans, Salman added:
“We apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience caused by this decision. We appreciate your understanding. New dates for the show will be announced soon.”
The tour was to feature Salman Khan along with Madhuri Dixit, Kriti Sanon, Sara Ali Khan, Sunil Grover, Maniesh Paul, Varun Dhawan, Tiger Shroff, and Disha Patani. The shows were originally scheduled for May 4 in Manchester and May 5 in London.
