Air India Diverts Several Flights Amid Rising Tensions in Iran, Prioritizes Passenger Safety
New Delhi: In light of the escalating instability in Iran and the subsequent closure of its airspace, Air India has taken proactive steps to ensure the safety of its passengers by diverting several flights or returning them to their points of origin.
In an official statement, Air India said, “The safety of our passengers is our top priority. Given the evolving situation, some flights are being rerouted via alternate paths, while others have been either cancelled or turned back.”
The airline further informed that passengers who choose to cancel or reschedule their travel plans will be offered full refunds or free rescheduling without any additional charges.
