New Delhi: The prestigious Goenka community, one of India’s leading industrial families, has gathered at their ancestral town Fatehpur Shekhawati in Rajasthan to pay homage to their kuldevi “Dadi Ji” during the auspicious Bhado Amavasya Utsav. On the second day of the festival, renowned spiritual preacher Pujya Bhupendra Bhai Pandya commenced the Hanuman Katha, marking the beginning of three days of divine storytelling and devotion. The spiritual series will include recitations and discourses from the Hanuman Chalisa, Sundar Kand, and the Valmiki Ramayana. Prior to the Katha, members of the Goenka family carried the sacred scriptures on their heads in a traditional procession to the main venue, creating a deeply devotional atmosphere.

The event was formally inaugurated with a lamp-lighting ceremony, led by Pujya Bhupendra Bhai Pandya alongside the event organizers. He also honoured the hosts with traditional shawls and blessings.
