BJP Distances Itself from Nishikant Dubey’s Statement, JP Nadda Says Party Does Not Support Such Remarks

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has officially distanced itself from the controversial remarks made by its MPs Nishikant Dubey and Dinesh Sharma regarding the judiciary and the Chief Justice of India. Late Saturday night, BJP President JP Nadda issued a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating that the comments were made in a personal capacity and do not reflect the party’s stance.

JP Nadda said, “The statements made by BJP MPs Nishikant Dubey and Dinesh Sharma concerning the judiciary and the Chief Justice of India are entirely personal. The BJP neither endorses nor supports such statements. The party unequivocally rejects them.”

He further emphasized that the BJP has always respected the judiciary and has willingly accepted the directions and suggestions of the courts. Nadda reiterated that the country’s judiciary, particularly the Supreme Court, is a strong pillar of democracy and a guardian of the Constitution.

The BJP President also stated that he has instructed both MPs to refrain from making such remarks in the future. Additionally, he has advised all party leaders to avoid issuing similar statements.

With this development, the BJP has sent a clear message about its serious commitment to upholding the dignity and respect of constitutional institutions.
