Book “PM Power” Highlights the Strength of the Prime Minister
New Delhi : The book PM Power, authored by senior journalists Amit Kumar and Ritu Srivastava, was launched on Monday at the Diamond Books stall during the ongoing New Delhi World Book Fair at Bharat Mandapam. The book launch was graced by Diamond Books Director N.K. Verma, senior writer Awadhesh Srivastava, Sandeep Sharma, Sunil Singh (Director of Pharma Vision), Haridas Maharaj Peethadhish Pal Baba, Dr. R.P. Singh, filmmaker Dinesh Singh, along with a large number of writers and journalists. The book has been published by Diamond Books.
On this occasion, Narendra Verma stated that the book extensively details how the Prime Minister utilizes power to transform the destiny of the nation. He added that PM Power introduces readers to key decisions made by India’s Prime Ministers, many of which are not widely known.
Author Amit Kumar expressed confidence that the book would appeal to readers interested in Indian politics. He highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives for women’s empowerment, such as the Lakhpati Didi and Drone Didi schemes, which are expected to contribute significantly to India’s development.
Co-author Ritu Srivastava shared an intriguing historical insight, stating that the resolution of the Ayodhya Ram Temple issue could have been achieved during former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar Singh’s tenure. He had brought discussions between the Hindu and Muslim communities to a decisive stage, but when his coalition partner became aware of this progress, they withdrew their support, causing the matter to stall.
Pal Baba urged people to read books like PM Power, emphasizing their importance. Following the enthusiastic response from readers at the launch, the publisher announced plans to release an English edition soon.
