Change in timings of schools and hospitals in Rajasthan due to rising heat

Jaipur:  Keeping in mind the rising temperatures in Rajasthan, the timings of government schools and hospitals have been changed from 1st April. This decision has been made in accordance with the Shivira Panchang and instructions from the medical department, with the expectation of providing relief to students and patients.

Due to the heat, government schools will now start earlier than before. From 1st April, the school timings have been set from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Schools with two shifts will operate from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with each shift lasting 5 hours and 30 minutes. This change has been made to protect students from the intense heat.

The timings of outpatient departments (OPDs) in government hospitals and medical colleges have also been revised. The OPDs will now operate from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, instead of the previous schedule of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Similarly, the timings of Community Health Centers (CHCs) and Primary Health Centers (PHCs) have also been changed.
