Consecration of Shri Ram Darbar and All Deities Completed in Ayodhya
Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) : On the auspicious occasion of Ganga Dussehra, the Ram Mandir complex in Ayodhya witnessed a historic moment as the consecration (Pran Pratishtha) of Shri Ram Darbar and all newly constructed temples was carried out in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during the sacred Abhijit Muhurat, accompanied by collective Vedic chanting.
On the final day of the three-day ceremony, the worship of the invoked deities began at 6:30 a.m. in the Yajna Mandap and continued for about two hours. Following this, a havan ritual commenced at 9:00 a.m. and lasted for an hour. Subsequently, the consecration of all deity idols across the temple complex was performed simultaneously through a centralized system. All temples were interconnected through visual media (cameras and screens), enabling the rituals to be conducted in unison.
Along with Shri Ram Darbar and Sheshavatar, the main temples where the consecration took place include:
Shiva Temple in the northeast (Ishaan) corner of the temple complex
Lord Ganesha in the southeast (Agni) corner
Hanumanji in the center of the southern wing
Sun God (Surya Dev) in the southwest (Nairitya) corner
Goddess Bhagwati in the northwest (Vayavya) corner
Goddess Annapurna in the center of the northern wing
This grand spiritual event infused the Ram Mandir premises with a profound sense of devotion and sanctity. Devotees expressed great enthusiasm and emotional fervor on witnessing this once-in-a-lifetime occasion.
