Convoy of Bihar Deputy CM Vijay Chaudhary Attacked in Lakhisarai, RJD Supporters Accused — Chaos Erupts at the Spot

Lakhisarai ( Bihar) : In a major incident amid the Bihar Assembly elections, the convoy of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Chaudhary came under attack in Lakhisarai on Thursday. The sudden violence triggered chaos in the area, with the Deputy CM holding RJD supporters responsible for the attack.
According to sources, mud and slippers were hurled at the Deputy CM’s convoy. BJP candidate Vijay Kumar Sinha, who was present at the spot, was also involved in a heated altercation.
RJD Supporters Allegedly Behind the Attack, “Murdabad” Slogans Raised
As per eyewitness accounts, RJD supporters surrounded the vehicles of the Deputy CM and BJP candidate Vijay Kumar Sinha, chanting “Murdabad” slogans and blocking their way. The situation quickly turned tense, prompting police officers present on the spot to intervene and separate the groups. Some vehicles reportedly sustained damage after the mob threw mud at the convoy.
Vijay Kumar Sinha: “RJD Goons Are Attacking Democracy”
Speaking to the media after the incident, BJP candidate Vijay Kumar Sinha said,
“These are RJD goons. They know NDA is coming back to power, and in frustration, they’re resorting to violence. I was stopped from entering the village, and my polling agent was chased away and prevented from voting. This is an attack on democracy.”
He added that the matter would be reported to the Election Commission and warned that “bulldozer action” would be taken against those found guilty.
“Dalit and backward community members are being threatened, but the people are watching everything. The NDA’s victory is certain,” he added.
Upon receiving the information, police and administrative officials rushed to the scene. The situation has since been brought under control. Police officials stated that an investigation is underway and strict action will be taken against the culprits.
