Deepika Padukone Says, “There Is Strength in Silence”

Mumbai : On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, actress Deepika Padukone visited Madhya Pradesh to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her foundation, ‘Live Love Laugh.’ Over the past decade, the foundation has become a strong pillar of mental health awareness and support across India.

Deepika, who has long been a vocal advocate for mental health, spoke extensively about her journey, struggles, and the impact of her foundation during the event. This milestone was not just a celebration but a reminder of her ongoing efforts to break the social stigma around mental health in the country.

When asked if standing up for the right cause has ever come at a cost, Deepika responded honestly:“It has happened many times. Whether it was about payments or other issues, I’ve always handled things my way. I fight my battles quietly and with dignity. Sometimes these matters become public, which is not my nature, but I always remain focused on my purpose with simplicity.” Her words not only reflect her personal experiences but also shed light on ongoing debates about equality, respect, and justice in the film industry.

Today, Deepika Padukone continues to prove that true strength lies not in making noise but in creating change through one’s work, silence, and sincerity—whether in front of the camera or behind it.
