“Echoes of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ as Indians Return from Iran; 517 Safely Repatriated Under Operation Sindhu”

New Delhi : As tensions continue to escalate in Iran, Indian citizens returning under ‘Operation Sindhu’ expressed their relief and patriotism by chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” upon arrival. Joy and gratitude were visible on their faces as they touched Indian soil again.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, a special electronic aircraft from Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, is scheduled to arrive in New Delhi at 3:00 PM today, bringing another group of Indian nationals safely home.

With this, the total number of Indian citizens repatriated under Operation Sindhu has reached 517. The government reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the safety of every Indian stranded in Iran and is taking all possible measures to bring them back swiftly and securely.

Launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, Operation Sindhu has been widely praised for its speed, coordination, and efficiency. Indian Air Force teams, diplomatic missions, and supporting agencies have worked round-the-clock to make the mission a success.

Several returnees noted that this operation reflects the spirit of “New India”, where no Indian is left behind, no matter where they are in the world.
