Goa to Host HIFA 2025 on August 30–31: A Mega Healthcare Event Making Waves
Mumbai : Goa is set to host the second edition of the Healthcare Iconic Fashion & Awards (HIFA) on August 30–31, 2025 — and the excitement is palpable. Bringing together experts from Allopathy, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, and other medical fields, the event is shaping up to be a landmark in India’s healthcare calendar. With over 500 doctors, 20+ international delegates, and 200+ hospital and business owners expected to attend, HIFA 2025 is drawing global attention. However, it’s not just the healthcare sector that’s buzzing — airfare, train, and bus ticket prices to Goa have skyrocketed, with some comparing it to the “Prayagraj Kumbh Mela moment” due to the surge in demand. Airfares from major cities have doubled, train bookings are full weeks in advance, and sleeper bus rates have also climbed. This unprecedented rise reflects the massive pull of this high-profile conclave.
The event will be graced by top dignitaries including Union Ministers Shri Nityanand Rai (Minister of State for Home Affairs) and Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal (Minister of Law and Justice), Rohan Khaunte (Goa Tourism Minister), and healthcare stalwarts like Padma Shri Dr. Ramakant Deshpande, Dr. Rahul Bajpai (CEO, Asian Cancer Institute), and Dr. Shankar Sawant (Secretary, HIFA National Committee). Three Padma Shri awardees, senior policymakers, and prominent legislators will also be in attendance, making it a historic gathering for India’s healthcare industry.
Themed “Healing in Style: Honoring the Hands That Heal India”, the event is being supported by The Mehta Group, led by Hemanshu Mehta, in partnership with HIFA. Traditionally considered Goa’s off-season, late August has now turned into a festive period thanks to HIFA, with hotels filling up fast and local businesses anticipating a major boom.At the heart of this healthcare revolution is Dr. Biswajit Mandal, Founder of HIFA, whose vision is to create a global platform that bridges modern medicine with traditional healing systems, promoting innovation and policy reform.
If the rising travel costs and growing excitement are any indication, Goa is all set to witness a truly iconic healthcare event.
