Grand Hindu Conference Draws Massive Crowd in Lado Sarai, Sends Message of Unity and Cultural Awareness

New Delhi : A grand Hindu Conference held at the Shiv Temple premises inside the Panchayat Bhawan in Lado Sarai village and extension area of Saket Nagar, under Kalkaji district of Delhi, witnessed the enthusiastic participation of more than 2,500 devotees, social workers, youth, women, and senior citizens. The event aimed to promote social unity, cultural awareness, and dialogue on issues concerning national interest.
The programme began with floral tributes to Lord Shri Ram and Bharat Mata, followed by a Vedic havan conducted by Arya Samaj scholars. Families from Lado Sarai village and its extension participated in the ritual, offering prayers for national progress, social harmony, and global well-being. The atmosphere resonated with Vedic chants, conch sounds, and devotional slogans.
Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Vishwa Hindu Parishad National Spokesperson Shri Vinod Bansal said that such conferences strengthen the spirit of unity and organization within society. He emphasized that social cohesion is essential not only for preserving cultural heritage but also for contributing to nation-building. Recalling similar large gatherings organized during the birth centenary year of Guru Golwalkar in 2005–06, he noted how they had inspired a renewed sense of awareness. He also stressed the need to rise above caste, linguistic, and regional divisions.
Shri Bansal informed that similar conferences would be organized at over 5,000 locations across Delhi to spread messages of social unity, cultural pride, and national service. He referred to the historical journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), recalling its role in social awakening and service. He also mentioned the participation of RSS volunteers in the 1963 Republic Day Parade as a symbol of discipline and patriotism.
Maha Mandaleshwar Sadhvi Vibhanandgiri Ji, in her address, said that Hindu culture represents a complete way of life rooted in values such as truth, non-violence, compassion, and service. She called upon the youth to take pride in their cultural heritage while embracing modern life.
Several dignitaries shared their thoughts at the event, including RSS senior functionary Ajay Upadhyay, RWA President Devendra Sejwal, Organising Committee President Ashok Gaur, Secretary B.B. Mishra, Treasurer Dayashankar Sharan, Sumer Sejwal, Raj Pehlwan, Avdhesh Jha, Senior Advocate Jagdish Prasad Sharma, and representatives from ISKCON Temple.
RWA President Devendra Sejwal credited the success of the programme to the collective efforts of local residents, volunteers, and social organizations, stating that the conference symbolized community consciousness and cooperation. Senior citizens were felicitated with images of Lord Shri Ram as a mark of respect and gratitude.
Numerous social and religious organizations, including Hare Krishna Centre, Ekta Nai Pehchan Foundation Trust, Sai Jan Vikas Foundation, Chhath Puja Committee, JKBM Foundation, Saraswati Puja Committee, Shiv Mandir Committee, Kali Mandir Committee, Hanuman Mandir Committee, Prachin Peepal Shiv Mandir Committee, and Sai Mandir Committee, actively contributed to the success of the event.
The programme concluded with the distribution of community prasad, where thousands sat together in rows and shared the meal, reflecting traditions of equality and collective harmony.
Organizers described the conference as not merely a religious gathering but a platform for social harmony, cultural revival, and collective awareness. The enthusiastic participation of residents sent a message that unity, cultural pride, and a spirit of service can strengthen communities and inspire positive change.
