Healthcare Revolution in Delhi: Chief Minister Rekha Gupta Inaugurates 33 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs

New Delhi : In a historic step toward strengthening Delhi’s healthcare infrastructure, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, inaugurated 33 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs across the capital today. These centers will offer over 200 essential medicines free of cost, along with completely free treatment and diagnostic tests for all citizens.

Delhi Minister Ashish Sood called the initiative a revolutionary milestone. He said, “Today marks a transformative chapter in Delhi’s healthcare history. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has launched Arogya Mandirs across various parts of the capital, including Janakpuri Assembly. These centers will serve as a significant relief point for the common people.”

Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra, who inaugurated an Arogya Mandir at Khajuri in Karawal Nagar, added, “Under Rekha Gupta’s leadership, 33 Arogya Mandirs are being dedicated to the people of Delhi. The Ayushman scheme had been held back in Delhi for the past 10 years. These centers should have been operational much earlier. Now, people will receive free treatment, tests, and essential medicines. The previous government followed a model of loot in the healthcare sector, but now affordable and accessible healthcare will reach every citizen.”

With the inauguration of these Arogya Mandirs, residents of Delhi will now have access to primary healthcare facilities within their own neighborhoods. The Delhi government claims this initiative will not only aid in treating diseases but also improve transparency and quality in healthcare services across the capital.
