India Will Rise to Become the Guiding Light for the Entire Nation: Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale

Noida (Uttar Pradesh): Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS) Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale stated that several ideas have emerged regarding India’s nationality. Is India only what has been broken? Is it just a piece of land? Or is it merely a country governed by a constitution? India is much more than that—it is a philosophy of life, a spiritual force, and a teacher to the world. This was the sentiment expressed by the respected Dattatreya Hosabale.

Hosabale shared these thoughts during the book launch ceremony of Vimarsh Bharat Ka, published by Suruchi Prakashan and organized by Prerna Research Institute Trust, Noida. The event was held at Panchsheel Balak Inter College, Noida, on Monday. On this occasion, India TV’s senior journalist Meenakshi Joshi was honored with the Prerna Samman 2024.

He acknowledged that Prerna Research Institute has been making significant efforts in bringing about intellectual and ideological transformation in society over the years, especially in the media sector. The book Vimarsh Bharat Ka was launched as a compilation of key discussions over the past four years, highlighting essential topics related to people, nation, and humanity.

Mahakumbh Vimarsh as a Turning Point

Dattatreya Hosabale emphasized that Mahakumbh Vimarsh has initiated a major intellectual debate that will guide people in various directions. He remarked that India is home to thousands of faiths, and the country should be called Bharat instead of India. He also pointed out the misinformation spread about India, such as the claim that it is merely an agricultural country with no industrial capabilities. However, he refuted this, saying that India has historically been strong in various fields but lost its confidence and education system due to foreign invasions.

He noted that in earlier decades, students were taught that India had no contributions to mathematics and science, which is far from the truth. India’s history is filled with prosperity and knowledge, and today, many global intellectuals view India positively. The book India Desh provides a detailed account of how the world has perceived India over time.

India’s Identity Lies in Its Culture

Hosabale stated that India’s true identity lies in its culture and moral values. He encouraged welcoming modernity while staying rooted in tradition. He stressed that a person’s direction in life determines their success. If the direction is clear, the goal becomes easy to achieve; otherwise, confusion leads to a lack of purpose.

Book Launch Ceremony of ‘Vimarsh Bharat Ka’

India’s foundational principles—”Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah” (May all be happy) and “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (The world is one family)—reflect its concern for global humanity. He cited Guru Ramdas as an example, noting how even as a child, he was concerned about the world.

“India will rise, becoming the guiding light for the world. For this, India must stand on its own feet and strengthen itself. Our responsibility is to establish peace across the country. Many narratives are propagated in India, but we must write, speak, and present only the truth. This is an intellectual struggle, and our goal should be to establish, seek, and live by the truth,” he declared.

Youth as the Future of India

The event was presided over by News 24’s Editor-in-Chief, Anuradha Prasad. She emphasized that the youth will take the country forward, but they must remain connected to society, family, and the nation.

The event was graced by Prerna Research Institute Trust Chairperson Preeti Dadu, Prerna Vimarsh President Anil Tyagi, Suruchi Prakashan President Rajiv Tuli, and West Uttar Pradesh’s Sah-Kshetra Sanghchalak Professor Narendra Taneja.

Several eminent personalities attended, including Vice Chancellor Baldev Bhai Sharma, Professor Sanjeev Sharma, MP Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Padma Shri Umashankar Pandey, senior journalists Vishnu Tripathi, Brijesh Singh, Anand Narasimham, Awadhesh Kumar, Nalin Mehta, Harishchandra Varnwal, and Atul Agarwal, as well as space scientist Om Prakash Pandey.
