Indian-Flagged Tanker ‘Jag Laadki’ Docks at Mundra Port with Major Crude Oil Shipment

Mundra (Gujarat) : The Indian-flagged crude oil tanker Jag Laadki has successfully arrived at Adani Ports Mundra Port in Gujarat, marking a significant addition to India’s ongoing efforts to secure stable energy supplies.
The vessel carried approximately 80,886 metric tonnes (MT) of crude oil, sourced from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and loaded at Fujairah Port. With an overall length of 274.19 meters and a beam of 50.04 meters, Jag Laadki is a large-capacity tanker featuring a deadweight tonnage of around 164,716 tonnes and a gross tonnage of about 84,735 tonnes.
Its successful berthing at Mundra highlights the port’s capability to handle high-volume crude imports efficiently. The shipment is expected to support major refineries that depend on consistent crude supplies to sustain operations, especially amid regional supply uncertainties.
Officials noted that the seamless docking and handling of the tanker reflect Mundra Port’s robust maritime infrastructure and operational efficiency. The port played a key role in ensuring safe berthing and smooth coordination, reinforcing its importance in safeguarding India’s critical energy supply chains.
