Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0: The spiritual bond between North and South strengthened at Triveni Sangam

Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) : The spiritual delegation from Tamil Nadu, participating in Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0, arrived in Prayagraj with great enthusiasm, reverence and joy. Upon their arrival in Prayagraj, the delegation received a grand and dignified welcome with drums and traditional music, creating a festive atmosphere. All the delegates appeared extremely happy with this warm reception and expressed their gratitude to everyone involved in the arrangements.
City Magistrate Shri Vinod Kumar Singh, Zonal Head Shri Sanjay Mamgain, and DSP Shri Ved Vyas Mishra were present at the welcome ceremony. The delegates openly praised the well-organised arrangements made by the administration.
After the welcome, the delegation enjoyed cultural programmes. The glimpses of North and South Indian culture presented by the artists captivated everyone and the delegates appreciated the performances.
Subsequently, the delegates took a ceremonial holy dip at the Triveni Sangam and offered prayers, describing the experience as spiritually uplifting. Many appeared visibly moved after bathing in the Sangam’s waters. The delegation later visited the Shri Bade Hanuman Ji Temple, where they performed the prescribed rituals and prayers. The delegates said it was a great privilege to visit the revered temple in a serene and well-organised atmosphere.
Sharing her experience, Seetha Raman said the informative posters displayed at the ghats enabled her to gain a deeper understanding of Prayagraj’s rich history, its contributions and the significance of the Mahakumbh. She said bathing at the Sangam filled her with positive energy, while the visit to Shri Bade Hanuman Ji was a deeply pleasant and fulfilling experience. She also appreciated the VIP darshan facility extended by the administration and expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, the Ministry of Education, IRCTC and the Prayagraj administration for the arrangements.
After completing the darshan and attending the programmes, the delegation had a meal at the Swaminarayan Temple and later departed for Ayodhya in special buses.
