KidZania Opens a New World of Pottery and Art Role-Play for Kids

Mumbai : KidZania, the global leader in children’s edutainment, has launched an inspiring new role-play activity in partnership with Meetakriti Art Studio, founded by award-winning sculptor Meeta Surayya. The initiative offers children a unique opportunity to explore the world of pottery and art, stepping into the shoes of a potter or artist. The Meetakriti Pottery Studio invites kids to shape clay, design unique pieces, and transform imagination into reality. It’s more than play—it’s a window into creative careers like ceramic design, sculpture, and art therapy. This activity encourages children to see art not just as a hobby, but as a possible professional path.

During the sessions, young creators will mold terracotta clay on electric wheels and decorate their creations with vibrant colors. A short educational video will also be shown, emphasizing the journey of potters and the importance of eco-friendly practices. Tarandeep Singh Sekhon, Chief Business Officer, KidZania India, shared, “Pottery teaches focus and creativity. With Meeta Surayya and Meetakriti, we’re helping children discover passions that could become future professions.”Meeta Surayya added, “Art helps every child express who they are. Through this collaboration, we’re shaping dreams from clay.”

KidZania plans to expand the studio to its Delhi-NCR location soon.
