Lady Shri Ram and Kirori Mal College Clinch PSPB Baba Deep Singh Basketball Title

New Delhi: Lady Shri Ram College and Kirori Mal College clinched 4th PSPB Baba Deep Singh Basketball title in women and men section respectively.
In the final of the women’s category, Lady Shri Ram College won the competition by defeating Ramjas College 49-31 and the Most Valuable Player Award was received by Vipasana of Lady Shri Ram College.
In the final match of the men’s category, Kirori Mal College won the competition by defeating host Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College 83 -75. Daksh Chaudhary of Kirori Mal College received the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament Award.
The chief guest of the Prize distribution ceremony of the competition was Ms. Ranjit Gill, Director Hockey India. She was accompanied by Mr. Gautam Wadhera, Joint Secretary of the Petroleum Sports Promotion Board, Guest of Honour Indian Hockey Player Mr. Harjit Singh and Professor Gurmohinder Singh, Principal of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College. Along with them, Khalsa College Director of Physical Education and Sports, Dr. Inderpreet Kaur Nanda presented awards to the players.
PSPB 4th Baba Deep Singh Hockey (Women and Men) and Basketball (Women and Men) competition was organized by Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College of Delhi University.
