Lumé Raises Skincare Awareness Among Teenagers in Gurugram
New Delhi: Lumé, a new-age Indian skincare brand focused on skin health, recently conducted a skincare awareness session for teenagers at Med Easy School in Gurugram. The session, led by Lumé’s co-founder Gunjan Sharma, was attended by 30-40 students and teachers, aiming to address common skin issues faced by teenagers due to hormonal changes, stress, sweat, and environmental factors. The interactive session highlighted that skin is the body’s largest organ and its first line of defense. The Lumé team educated students on basic skincare practices such as cleansing, moisturizing, staying hydrated, and using sunscreen. Myths like pimples being caused by dirt were debunked, emphasizing hormonal factors instead.
Med Easy School Principal Mrs. Manjula Pothepalli noted that skincare issues often affect teens’ confidence, and such sessions empower them. Gunjan Sharma added that the goal was to simplify skincare for teens overwhelmed by online advice. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A.
