“Mental Health Is Extremely Important to Me”: Nikita Rawal

Mumbai: Actress, producer, and host Nikita Rawal is widely known for her fearless perspective, especially when it comes to speaking her mind. With her stylish and charismatic personality, she has previously shared several intriguing insights about the industry—something audiences have appreciated. It’s no surprise that she is admired for her bold and honest outlook.

For someone like Nikita, mental health has always been a top priority, and it’s evident she makes a conscious effort to keep her own mental well-being in check. Not only for herself, but through her inspiring words, she has also helped many others become more self-aware and positive.

Recently, when Nikita was asked about the importance of mental health, particularly in light of tragic incidents where several artists in the past have taken their own lives due to mental pressure, she shared her thoughts:

“Mental health has always been extremely important to me. If you are in a good and positive mindset, you can take care of both your personal and professional life. That’s what I always strive for. Honestly, I never let anything take over my mind. I don’t take my success too seriously, nor do I dwell on failure. Both success and failure are part of life, and there must be a balance between personal and professional spheres. You should never allow either of these to impact your mental health.”

She continued, “Yes, unfortunately, many artists in the past have taken drastic steps under mental health pressures. It’s heartbreaking, and I don’t feel I’m in a position to comment on why they did what they did, nor should I. It’s extremely unfortunate. However, I do believe that loneliness may have played a role. Sometimes, as a public figure, it feels like the world is around you—but you still feel utterly alone. That kind of loneliness can be deeply disturbing.”

Nikita concluded with a powerful message, “So, I would just urge everyone—whenever you feel that things aren’t right, talk to someone. Don’t bear the pressure alone. Speak with your loved ones, and if needed, seek professional help for mental health. Life is the greatest gift the universe has given us, and we must make every positive effort to protect it. May God bless and love us all.”
