Mumbai : Hops Kitchen & Bar (also known as All Spice Kitchen & Bar) in Lokhandwala, Andheri West, faces serious allegations of serving alcohol to underage girls. Two girls, aged 16 and 21, were reportedly served vodka without age verification, leading to hospitalization at Cooper Hospital after they fell ill. Hospital sources confirmed both were under the influence of alcohol upon admission. Their identities have been protected for safety; pseudonyms used are Neha (16) and Nisha (21). The incident occurred late Thursday night and falls under Oshiwara Police jurisdiction. Police have initiated an investigation into staff negligence and are reviewing CCTV footage and license details. Local residents and activists have expressed outrage, demanding strict action. If the allegations are proven, the bar could face charges under the Bombay Prohibition Act and child protection laws.
