Minor Hike in Delhi Metro Fares, Effective from Today

New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has revised passenger fares, with the changes coming into effect from today, Monday, August 25, 2025.

According to sources, the fare hike has been kept minimal this time. Depending on the travel distance, fares have been increased by ₹1 to ₹4, while for passengers on the Airport Express Line, the maximum increase is ₹5.

The Delhi Metro administration stated that the hike has been introduced keeping in view operational costs and the need to maintain service quality. Details of the revised fares have been made available at all stations and on the official website.
