New Delhi: Mitra Manch Manav Kalyan (India), an organisation actively engaged in social service and human welfare, successfully organised a large-scale donation drive across various parts of the national capital on January 4, 2026. The initiative aimed to provide timely and essential assistance to the weaker, underprivileged, and needy sections of society.

As part of the campaign, essential supplies were provided to Shri Ramanuj Sanskrit Vedic Gurukulam located in Bakhtawarpur, Burari, where more than 40 young acharyas are pursuing their studies. Support was also extended to Shrinivas Sanskrit Vidyapeetham in Ibrahim Pur, Delhi, which has over 75 young acharyas and around 30 staff members. In addition, assistance was given to the Vinayak Blind Girls’ Hostel in Sant Nagar, Burari, where more than 50 visually impaired girls are being educated and cared for.

Office bearers of the organisation stated that through this donation drive, efforts were made to contribute to the education and welfare of young acharyas engaged in preserving India’s cultural heritage, while also supporting the holistic development of visually impaired girls. The organisation believes that reaching out to these sections of society is a collective moral responsibility. Along with this, Mitra Manch Manav Kalyan (India) continues to provide regular support to gaushalas as well.

Upholding its core motto, “Service is the highest duty,” the organisation distributed essential daily-use items such as flour, rice, mustard oil, salt, sugar, ghee, detergent, and other necessities. Keeping the winter season in mind, blankets were also distributed among the beneficiaries.

Notably, established in 1990, Mitra Manch Manav Kalyan (India) has been consistently active in the fields of social welfare and human development. The organisation has so far rescued and rehabilitated more than 2,200 women and children from human trafficking. Every year, it organises similar donation drives in gurukuls, orphanages, old-age homes, and schools for the visually impaired.
