Naga Chaitanya Set to Embrace Mythological Roles, Continuing Family Legacy
Mumbai :Telugu cinema is witnessing a resurgence of mythological storytelling, and actor Naga Chaitanya appears ready to carry forward a rich family legacy. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR) and father Nagarjuna, Chaitanya is reportedly preparing for a mythological film deeply connected to his personal spiritual beliefs. Speculations are already high around his upcoming film NC 24, believed to include mythological elements. Now, another major project with a mythological theme is in discussion, potentially showcasing a new dimension of the actor.
ANR portrayed divine and saintly roles in classics like Sri Krishna Arjuna Yuddham and Sri Rama Rajyam. Nagarjuna continued this with Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu, and Om Namo Venkatesaya. If Chaitanya takes this route, it will mark both a tribute to his heritage and a personal artistic evolution, possibly setting a new benchmark in Telugu cinema.
