Neeraj Kumar Hits Back at Tejashwi: “159 Policemen Deployed for Lalu Family’s Security, At Least Acknowledge Action Taken”
Patna (Bihar): After RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav raised questions over the law and order situation in Bihar, the ruling JD(U) has strongly countered his remarks. JD(U) spokesperson and senior leader Neeraj Kumar accused Tejashwi of double standards and asserted that the people of Bihar have full faith in Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Neeraj Kumar said, “Whom is Tejashwi Yadav questioning? Our government reviews every criminal incident on 17 different parameters. There are 159 policemen deployed solely for the security of your (Lalu Yadav’s) family. This family cannot survive a single day without government facilities.”
He further added, “Action is being taken in every criminal case, but Tejashwi Yadav never acknowledges that. There’s not even a single tweet from him when police act. Instead of politicizing crime, he should show sensitivity.”
This statement comes at a time when the opposition has been consistently targeting the Nitish government over recent criminal incidents. Meanwhile, the JD(U) is trying to portray itself as both “firm and responsive” on law and order matters.
