Patna High Court Deals Major Blow to Congress, Orders Immediate Removal of AI Video on PM Modi and His Mother

Patna (Bihar): The Patna High Court has taken a stern stance in the case involving an AI-generated video by the Congress party featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother, Heeraben Modi. The court has directed the Congress to immediately remove the controversial video from all social media platforms.

The issue surfaced on September 10, when Bihar Congress shared the video on social media platform X and other channels. The BJP, terming the video an insult to the Prime Minister and his mother, filed a petition before the Patna High Court.

A bench headed by Acting Chief Justice P.B. Bajanthri observed during the hearing that such videos are unacceptable in any form and must be taken down without delay. The court’s directive is being seen as a major setback for Congress and the opposition INDIA bloc ahead of the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.
