PM Assures Justice in ‘Mann Ki Baat’: Victims Will Get Justice, Perpetrators Will Face Strict Punishment

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his monthly radio program Mann Ki Baat on Sunday, assured that the families of the victims of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, will receive justice and that the conspirators behind the attack will face the harshest punishment. He emphasized that the entire nation stands firmly with the bereaved families and that the unity of 1.4 billion Indians is India’s greatest strength in the fight against terrorism.

Speaking in the 121st episode of Mann Ki Baat, the Prime Minister said, “Today, the world is witnessing how India has stood united against terrorism in the aftermath of this attack. Global leaders have also expressed their condolences and strongly condemned the attack.”

Prime Minister Modi further added, “Global leaders called me, wrote letters, and sent messages. Everyone has strongly condemned this heinous terrorist attack. The entire world stands with the 1.4 billion Indians in our fight against terrorism. Once again, I assure the victims’ families that justice will be served. The conspirators and perpetrators of this attack will be given the harshest punishment.”

Modi described the terror attack as a desperate attempt to disrupt the peace and development returning to Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the positive changes taking place in Kashmir are not being tolerated by those who support terrorism, which is why such cowardly conspiracies are being hatched.

The Prime Minister urged citizens to remain united in the face of this challenge. He stated, “We must demonstrate our strong resolve and stay united in the decisive battle against terrorism.”

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha also listened to the 121st episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat program.
