PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP Pay Tribute to Babasaheb Ambedkar on His 135th Birth Anniversary
New Delhi: A grateful nation today paid heartfelt tribute to Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar on his 135th birth anniversary. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) took to their respective X (formerly Twitter) accounts to remember and salute the architect of the Indian Constitution.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted:
“On behalf of all fellow citizens, I bow to Bharat Ratna Babasaheb on his birth anniversary. It is his inspiration that has led the nation to work with full dedication toward realizing the dream of social justice. His principles and ideals continue to strengthen and accelerate the building of a self-reliant and developed India.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah wrote:
“Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, who laid the foundation of social revolution through education, equality, and justice, remained committed throughout his life to the rights of the underprivileged. By drafting a Constitution based on equality, liberty, and fraternity, he gave a strong base to India’s great democratic legacy. His vision of a just and equitable society continues to inspire us all. I offer my heartfelt tribute to Babasaheb Ambedkar, the great constitutional architect and symbol of pride for millions of Indians.”
The BJP, in one of its posts, said:
“Infinite tributes to the sculptor of social harmony, the architect of the Constitution, Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, on his birth anniversary.”
In another post, BJP added:
“The Modi government has preserved Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s legacy with dignity and honor, whereas Congress disrespected his contributions.”
JP Nadda to Visit Mahaparinirvan Sthal at 10:30 AM
The BJP also shared details of party president and Union Health Minister JP Nadda’s program for the day.
The post read:
“On the occasion of Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s birth anniversary, BJP National President and Union Minister Shri JP Nadda will offer floral tributes at the Mahaparinirvan Sthal, 26 Alipur Road, New Delhi.”
Nadda is scheduled to arrive at 10:30 AM.
