Ranveer Singh’s Heart-Touching Apology

Mumbai : Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh publicly apologized to Kannada star Rishab Shetty for recreating a scene from Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1. Ranveer clarified that he never intended to hurt anyone’s sentiments and expressed deep admiration for Shetty’s performance.

Both actors were present at the closing ceremony of the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa on November 28. On stage, Ranveer praised Shetty’s acting and imitated a scene from the film, which triggered mixed reactions on social media.

Responding to the criticism, Ranveer issued a sincere apology on social media. On his Instagram Story, he emphasized that he has always respected every culture and tradition of the country. He wrote that his intention was only to highlight the brilliance of Shetty’s hard-earned performance. He added that if anyone’s emotions were hurt, he truly apologizes.
