Review of election preparedness in Tawang

Tawang (Arunachal Pradesh) : The Election Commissioner of India, Dr. S. S. Sandhu, carried out a detailed review of election preparedness in Tawang district on Monday. He was accompanied by Arunachal Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) P. K. Sain and Deputy CEO Shania Mize.
During the review meeting, District Election Officer (DEO) Namgyal Angmo presented an in-depth overview of Tawang’s unique geographical and demographic features, along with the district’s continuous electoral preparations. The presentation also highlighted the extensive groundwork undertaken to ensure smooth and transparent conduct of elections in the region.
Deputy CEO Shania Mize and CEO P. K. Sain briefed the gathering on state-level progress, key achievements, and ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening electoral systems and ensuring maximum voter participation.
Election officials from various parts of Tawang district shared their field experiences, offering practical insights and constructive suggestions for further improving efficiency and streamlining the overall election process. Their feedback is expected to contribute significantly to refining future electoral strategies in the state.
