Salman Khan and Deputy CM Eknath Shinde Seek Bappa’s Blessings at Rahul Kanal’s Ganpati Celebration
Mumbai: The spirit of devotion, unity, and celebration lit up Bandra as renowned social worker and ruling party social media head Rahul Narain Kanal welcomed Lord Ganesha into his home. The highlight of the celebration was the arrival of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who visited the Ganpati pandal to offer their prayers.
For Kanal, Ganeshotsav is not just a personal festivity but a chance to serve society. His I Love Mumbai Foundation uses the festival as a platform for social impact — from distributing meals to the needy as prasad, promoting eco-friendly clay idols, to organizing tree plantation drives during visarjan.
This year, the same inclusive spirit echoed through the celebrations. Salman Khan, who has frequently supported Kanal’s social initiatives, was among the first to bow before Bappa. Shortly after, Deputy CM Eknath Shinde arrived and took part in the aarti.
The lanes of Bandra came alive with the distribution of prasad and the warmth of community celebration, turning the Ganpati pandal into a hub of devotion and social harmony.
