Salman Khan Arrives in Hyderabad for ‘Sikandar’ Shooting Amid Death Threats
Hyderabad: Bollywood’s “Bhai” Salman Khan is making headlines, not just for his work but also due to personal issues. He has been receiving death threats continuously, yet remains focused on his professional commitments. After filming for ‘Bigg Boss 18,’ Salman has now commenced shooting for his upcoming movie, Sikandar, and recently arrived in Hyderabad for the film’s shoot.
Set for an Eid 2025 release, Sikandar is being filmed at the historic Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad. This venue holds a special place for Salman, as it’s where his sister Arpita married Aayush Sharma.
Upon arrival at the airport, Salman was surrounded by tight security, including personal guards and Y-plus security, as a precaution after recent threats. Just last month, Salman’s close associate, politician Baba Siddique, was tragically killed. Following this incident, Salman received more death threats, leading to increased security measures. Police have since made arrests, with one suspect detained in Noida and another in Bandra, Mumbai.
Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, Sikandar stars Salman Khan alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Suniel Shetty, and Kajal Aggarwal in key roles.
