Sharvari Becomes ‘Young Fit India Icon’

Mumbai : Actress Sharvari, who caught the audience’s attention in 2024 with films like Munjya, Maharaj, and Veda, has now also become the face of a national fitness campaign. After participating in the ‘Sundays on Cycle’ initiative under the Fit India Movement, she has been appointed as the ‘Young Fit India Icon’. This appointment was made by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, during the 25th edition of the program, which was graced by Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya. The campaign encourages citizens to adopt cycling as a way to promote fitness and environmental conservation.

Expressing her happiness on the occasion, Sharvari said:
“I am proud to be appointed as the ‘Young Fit India Icon’ by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Being part of an initiative like ‘Sundays on Cycle’ is truly exciting, as it not only promotes fitness but also spreads the message of protecting the environment. It is a powerful extension of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji’s ‘Fit India Movement’, and I feel proud to be a part of it.”

This week’s ‘Sundays on Cycle’ program also featured a special tricolor rally dedicated to the Indian Armed Forces — a heartfelt tribute to honor their valor, dedication, and service.
