Shyam Lal, Kirori Mal, Khalsa and Indira Gandhi College win in the 11th Padmashri Shyam Lal Memorial Hockey Tournament

New Delhi: Host Shyam Lal College, Kirori Mal College, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College and Shyam Lal College Alumni in the men’s category and in the women’s section Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences won their league matches in the 11th Padmashri Shyam Lal Memorial Hockey (Women And men) tournament.

Shyam Lal College defeated Amity University 6–1. Mohit and Ashish scored two goals and Pratyush Singh Jaggi and Priyanshu scored one goal each for Shyam Lal college while Tanush scored a goal for Amity. The man of the match award was received by Mohit of Shyam Lal College.

Kirori Mal College defeated Hansraj College 2–0. Rohit Dangi and Bhupendra scored one goal each. Bhupendra of Kirorimal College received the Player of the Match award.

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College defeated Shyam Lal College (Evening) 11-0. Aman Minj scored four, Pawan three, Altaf and Ankit scored two goals each. The Man of the Match award was given to Altaf of Khalsa College.

Shyam Lal College Alumni defeated IIT team 4–0. Shashikant scored two goals and DS Jaggi and Pankaj scored one goal each.
Shashikant received the Player of the Match award.

In the women’s category, Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences defeated Janaki Devi Memorial College 2–0. Pinky and Aanchal scored one goal each for the winner.
IGI’s Kanchan won the Player of the Match award.
