Six Former Indian Army Chiefs Visit Nepal, Offer Prayers at Pashupatinath Temple
Kathmandu: On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, six former Chiefs of the Indian Army, who arrived in Kathmandu at the invitation of the Nepalese Army, offered special prayers at the Pashupatinath Temple today.
The former Indian Army Chiefs visiting Nepal for the Army Day celebrations organized by the Nepalese Army include General Joginder Jaswant Singh, General Deepak Kapoor, General (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Singh, General Dalbir Singh Suhag, General (Dr.) Manoj Mukund Naravane, and General Manoj Pande. They paid a visit to the revered Pashupatinath Temple and performed special prayers.
These former Army Chiefs have traveled to Nepal to participate in the Nepalese Army’s Foundation Day celebrations, which coincide with Maha Shivaratri. This year, the Nepalese Army is celebrating its 263rd Foundation Day. Additionally, the former Indian Army Chiefs are also set to attend a bilateral conference of Indian and Nepalese military leaders, as confirmed by the Nepalese Army.
