Sonu Tyagi and Approach Entertainment Join as Co-Producers of Global Film ‘Liberation’

Mumbai: Renowned filmmaker Sonu Tyagi and his award-winning production house, Approach Entertainment, have joined the upcoming global film Liberation (2025) as co-producers. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for the debut project, which is being crafted for a global audience with its primary language as English, while also being released in Hindi and other Indian languages.

Directed by young filmmaker Ankit Kadam and produced under Kanishk Kadam’s banner, Sure Real Pictures, Liberation follows the journey of James, a wealthy yet troubled student entangled in existential struggles and family pressure. His quest for identity leads him into a dark conspiracy involving the assassination of a famous singer. Along the way, he encounters Dorothy, a struggling young woman, and Boss, a manipulative opportunist.

Sonu Tyagi brings his creative vision and experience in films, web series, and branded content to the project. Known for his previous work including the spiritual web series Two Great Masters, Tyagi is also a published novelist and lyricist. Through his initiative Go Spiritual, he promotes wellness, spirituality, and social causes.

Tyagi stated that Liberation reflects the aspirations and struggles of today’s youth, and aims to engage audiences globally while rooted in Indian perspective.
