Sulabh International hosts National conference on Women’s day

New Delhi: Women celebrities from different walks of the life celebrated International Women’s Day by stressing on a theme, “Give to Gain,”.
Held under the theme “Give to Gain: Women & Livelihoods – Building Equitable Futures,” the opening session set the tone for a day dedicated to celebrating women’s leadership, dignity, and collective action.
A policy report prepared by Sulabh International, released on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026, reflects the evolution of that vision in contemporary contexts. It documents how dignity-centred interventions in sanitation, livelihoods, agriculture, skill development, and cultural enterprise have enabled women to move from invisibility to leadership within their families and communities.
Mrs. Nitya Pathak, Executive Convenor , Sulabh International said that theme of this year’s International Women’s Day, Give to Gain, captures a principle that Sulabh has long upheld: investing in women is not an act of charity but a strategic investment in sustainable development.
