Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd to Hold National Lok Adalat on 10 January 2026 for On-spot Settlement of Electricity Theft and Disconnected Connection Cases

New Delhi: Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL), one of North Delhi’s leading electricity utilities serving over 9 million residents, will participate in a National Lok Adalat for on-the-spot settlement of cases related to electricity theft and disconnected connections.
The event will be organized in association with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) on Saturday, 10th January 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at PLA-1, Sub-station Building 2/13, Sector-13, Rohini, Delhi – 110085, near Venkateshwar Global School.
Consumers who wish to resolve their pending cases through the National Lok Adalat are requested to attend the proceedings at PLA‑1 on the scheduled date and time. All participants must bring a valid government-issued photo ID along with either a theft bill or a bill related to a disconnected connection.
The National Lok Adalat provides a platform for consumers seeking amicable, on-the-spot resolution of their electricity theft and disconnected connection cases. Consumers who do not avail of this opportunity will be subject to criminal or civil proceedings under the relevant provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003, and DERC Regulations.
Additionally, consumers can pay their bills through multiple modes, including Demand Draft (DD), Cheque, Credit Card, Debit Card, various online payment facilities, or Cash.
Tata Power-DDL is actively informing customers about the National Lok Adalat through social media, SMS, and other communication channels to ensure maximum participation and success of the initiative.
