Patna (Bihar): A new political twist has emerged in Bihar’s politics. Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and former minister, has announced an alliance with the VVIP Party, stirring fresh political activity. With this alliance, Tej Pratap has declared his intent to play a new role in the 2025 Assembly Elections.

Pradeep Nishad, also known as ‘Helicopter Baba’ and the national president of the VVIP Party, announced that his party will contest all 243 assembly seats in Bihar. Tej Pratap confirmed that he will be contesting from his old constituency Mahua.

Open Offer from Tej Pratap – RJD and Congress Should Join
During the press conference, Tej Pratap extended an open invitation to his former party RJD and the Congress to come together. He said:

“Let’s stop the ifs and buts. The crocodile swims in water… come, let’s unite. I am not in politics for posts, but for public service.”

He also clarified that although he is not in communication with his younger brother Tejashwi Yadav, he still gives him his blessings.

“Let Tejashwi do his work, let Jai Chand do whatever he wants.”

Pradeep Nishad: “We will be the voice of the deprived”
VVIP Party chief Pradeep Nishad stated that the core mission of the party is to bring development to marginalized communities. He expressed a strong commitment to work with Tej Pratap’s team, especially for the Nishad community and other backward groups. He also clarified that his party has no connection with any other party misusing the VIP name.

“I visited Jamuniya village where floods destroyed cattle and lives — this is our mission.”

A Strong Message to Opponents
Tej Pratap also sent a strong message to his political rivals in his trademark style:

“Many people think that if they clash with us, they’ll be crushed. Our team may be small, but our strength is immense.”

Calling this a new beginning, he made it clear that he is not afraid of challenges. Another of his remarks has grabbed attention:

“A few days of moonlight, followed by a dark night… action won’t change anything. The people are our real strength.”

A Humorous Proposal to the Media
In a light-hearted moment during the press conference, Tej Pratap even jokingly said:

“If media people want to form an alliance too, they are welcome!”

As Bihar gears up for a high-stakes election, the alliance between Tej Pratap Yadav and the VVIP Party is poised to reshape the political landscape — how far it goes remains to be seen.
