Tejashwi Yadav Alleges ‘Conspiracy to Finish JD(U)’, Slams Government Over Mismanagement

Patna: Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav launched a sharp attack on the Chief Minister and the central government, alleging a political conspiracy behind plans to send the CM to the Rajya Sabha against his will.
Yadav claimed, “The Chief Minister has no desire to go to the Rajya Sabha; he is being forced. We have been saying from the beginning that the BJP wants to खत्म JD(U).” He further alleged that despite being the party’s national president, the Chief Minister does not have real decision-making power.
“Using the Chief Minister’s face, 3–4 people within JD(U) are taking all key decisions. There has already been an understanding with the BJP to weaken and finish JD(U), and that agenda is being pursued,” he added.
Targets Centre Over Policies
Tejashwi Yadav also criticized the central government while reacting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement in Parliament. He said that if the government had been proactive, the public would not be facing such hardships today.
He remarked, “Since this government came to power, common citizens and the poor have continuously suffered—whether it was demonetisation, the COVID-19 period, or now the shortage of gas. The government has failed on every front.”
Questions on Preparedness
Yadav questioned the government’s preparedness in handling essential supply issues, asking what arrangements had been made to ensure people do not suffer during shortages.
“If there had been prior planning, such a situation could have been avoided. This is not the first time people are facing such problems,” he said.
Referring to demonetisation, he reiterated that it yielded no tangible benefits and termed the government “completely unsuccessful,” adding that people are now closely observing these issues.
