Tejashwi Yadav Files Nomination from Raghopur for the Third Time, Seen with Family During Filing
Patna (Bihar): As part of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav filed his nomination papers from the Raghopur Assembly constituency today. This marks his third nomination from the same seat.
Tejashwi was accompanied by former Chief Minister Rabri Devi, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, and his sister Nisha Bharti during the nomination process. The atmosphere in Raghopur was filled with excitement and enthusiasm, as thousands of party workers and supporters gathered outside the nomination venue, raising slogans of “Tejashwi Yadav Zindabad.”
RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said, “The people of Raghopur have trusted us twice in a row. The people are the real masters. This is the third time we have filed our nomination from Raghopur, and we are confident that the people here will once again place their faith in us.
We don’t just want to form a government — we want to build Bihar. The state now aspires to become free from corruption and crime.
Many were spreading rumors that I would contest from two constituencies. Let me make it clear — Tejashwi is contesting from all 243 seats symbolically, but when it comes to one actual seat, it has always been Raghopur, and it will remain only Raghopur.”
Before filing his nomination, Tejashwi Yadav said, “Raghopur is my family. I am once again ready to work with the trust of the people. This time, the people of Bihar have made up their minds for change.”
According to RJD leaders, the Raghopur seat has been a symbol of both pride and struggle for the party. Tejashwi Yadav had won from the same constituency in 2015 and 2020, and now, by contesting for the third time, he aims to retain his traditional stronghold.
