Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Visits Prayagraj, Takes Holy Dip in Sangam
Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) : Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan arrived in Sangam city, Prayagraj, by train after inaugurating Kashi Tamil Sangamam 3.0 in Kashi, receiving a grand welcome at the station.
On Sunday morning, accompanied by his wife, the Minister took a holy dip in the Sangam and fed Siberian birds while enjoying a boat ride. He also reviewed the Kumbh arrangements with officials present. Speaking after his bath, he expressed his gratitude, stating, “It is a great fortune for me to take a dip in the Sangam and receive blessings. Maha Kumbh is not just a religious event but the greatest confluence of spiritual energy and India’s unity.”
Later, he visited the ODOP (One District-One Product) camp at Maha Kumbh, praising the Uttar Pradesh government’s efforts to promote local artisans and take the state’s unique products to the global stage. He also purchased a renowned banana fibre carpet of Kushinagar at the ODOP exhibition, highlighting the initiative’s role in generating local employment and supporting skilled workers.
