Uproar at Minority Dialogue Program, Slogans Raised Against CM Nitish
Patna (Bihar): A minority dialogue program organized by the Bihar State Madrasa Education Board in Patna turned chaotic when participants began raising slogans in front of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
During the event, a group of attendees attempted to hand over documents related to their grievances to the Chief Minister. Police tried to stop them, but after Nitish Kumar’s intervention, the documents were handed over through the police and reached him. The CM assured that their demands would be considered.
However, the situation worsened after the Chief Minister left the venue. Madrasa teachers and members of the Muslim community staged a strong protest, alleging that Nitish Kumar had refused to wear a cap on stage. Expressing their anger, the teachers accused the government of betraying minorities.
Protesters raised slogans such as “Stop fooling Muslims”. Reports suggest that the long-pending issue of teacher recruitment has fueled discontent among the community, and the frustration exploded during the program.
This incident has once again highlighted the growing discontent between Nitish Kumar’s government and the minority community.
